Dear Spanish Trail Leaders:


I want to thank each one of you for the support that
you have given me over the past 18 months. We have
truly come a long way, and our district is growing in
every area, from membership growth to increased FOS
giving to Roundtable attendance, from Cub Scouting to
Boy Scouting to Venturing. Our Camporees and Day Camps
are outstanding thanks to the volunteeres who have
donated their time and talent to our efforts. The
enthusiasm for the Scouting program is contagious, and
all of you help to feed it.
We have achieved so much in these 18 months and I am
proud of our progress. 

I know that our success will continue to build upon
itself. I know that each of you will reinforce the
positive message of Scouting.

I recently resigned my commission with The Boy Scouts
of America. I will continue to serve as a volunteer,
but will no longer serve as a unit serving executive
effective October 10, 2003. I thank you all for
everything that you have done for me and my family,
and I wish you all well in the future. I will be at
October Roundtable @ 7pm on October 9th @ Christ UMC.
I look forward to seeing those who attend.
