Instructions to the USA Engineering Workshop for Webelos follows. Time
is Thursday, 02/26/2004, 3pm until 4:30pm
Geoff
We will be meeting in the engineering lab building in the Mechatronics
lab (room 134). I will have signs posted, and I'll be standing in the
hallway, as well. We'll divide the kids into groups then, and send them
around to the different workshops. The engineering lab building is on
USA South drive: if you are coming north on University, you'll pass
through the Old Shell intersection, and the next light will be USA
South. Turn left, and follow the road through the campus. After you
pass the Mitchell Center, there will be a couple of small buildings that
are ROTC offices, then the engineering buildings. Turn into the front
parking lot; there will hopefully be parking along there. (with all the
traffic that day, hopefully no one will be looking for parking passes.
I should be able to get any tickets forgiven, if anyone gets one. You
can stop at the police station -first right on USA South through the
parking lot - if you want to get a parking pass. but by that time of
day it shouldn't be an issue) The lab building is the big building at
the end (On right if you're facing the buildings). The classroom
building is the first (the EE building is tucked behind the classroom
building). There may be signs already up pointing to the lab building
as the site of the open house that we have earlier in the day. The
scouts and parents should come in the first door, the one closest to the
classroom building. (if you come in and find either room 160 or the
Dean's office, you're in the classroom building!)
If you have any further questions orconcerns, Nancy, the ME secretary knows
all. Her number is 460-6168.
We're looking forward to the workshops!
