Cub Scout Pack Challenge
February 7, 2004


Who:     All registered Scouts and families in your Pack 
When:    Saturday February 7, 2004
Where:   Covenant Church Gym (Cody Rd. at Hitt Rd.)
Cost:    Scout pay nothing!  Each pack pays $20.00 for
         trophies

Registration Time:      9:00am
Opening Ceremony:       9:45am
Racing Start Time:     10:00am

The pack Challenge gives your son one more chance to
run his fine Pinewood derby car he put all that time
into.  My son raced in our pack challenge last year
and lost every race, he took the same car to the Pack
Challenge and won 3rd place in his den. So everyone
come and race and lets have some fun!

The official BSA Pinewood Derby rules apply.  All
pinewood derby kits should have a list of rules
included.  Please read the official rules on the back
of this sheet.

The race will be run in a double elimination format. 
We will be using 5 official Pinewood derby tracks, all
of which are equipped with electronic finish line
lights.  Judges will determine the winner.  The
Judges' call is final.

There will be Adult and Sibling races.

1.  Cars should be this years car.  Built for this
years race.
2.  Cars must be registered and inspected.
3.  Same format as the Scout race.
