Scouters,

I have been home exactly one week today. I want to Thank each and everyone of 
you for your cards, calls, visits and especially all of your prayers. I know 
an awful lot of folks have been praying for me and my family, and I greatly 
appreciate it. 

I am a Blessed man. My Doctors had prepared me for a wait of several months 
on an artificial heart assist device. Because of his Mercy and your prayers, I 
was only gone 35 days from start to finish. I am doing great and will start 
re-hab in about 2 weeks. 

I have the heart of a 34 year old Southeast Louisiana man and 6 units of 
Louisiana blood. My favorite foods are now crawfish and beignets. 

My wife has to go back to work Tuesday. This will greatly free me up. I hope 
to catch up with all of you real soon.
