Dear Scouts and Scouters,

This coming Sunday, February 27 will be a celebration to remember.  The
Government Street United Methodist Church, located at 901 Government Street
in Mobile, will be hosting area scouts for a City-Wide Scout Sunday
Celebration.  Scout Sunday is a time to celebrate the contribution that
scouting makes in the lives of the youth and children in our community.

If you are a boy or girl involved in scouting, or, if you are an adult
volunteer or scouting parent, you are invited to join in the celebration!
Come in your uniform and plan to stay after the worship service to be our
guest at a luncheon served in honor of our scouting friends.  The worship
service begins at 11:00 a.m.  Plan to arrive by 10:50 a.m. There is parking
available at the church lot on the corner of Government Street and Marine
St. one short block west of the church.  Also there is additional parking at
the CVS Pharmacy and Sav-a-lot Grocery which are located across the street
from the church at the intersection of Government and Broad.

There will be Girl Scouts from Mary B. Austin Elementary School and the Cub
Scouts from Pack 105 at Kate Shepherd Elementary.  Sea Scout Ship Mobile Bay
will also be present.  Spread the word around your unit today.  For more

To RSVP this invitation simply call the church office and indicate the
number of people you expect to be participating.  Be sure to include scouts,
leaders, and their family members so that there will be plenty for everyone
at the luncheon.
