The University of South Alabama presents its second annual "Webelos On
Wheels" (WOW) for the Mobile Area Council Webelos Scouts. This years
presentation will focus on the Scientist Activity Badge. The event is
scheduled at the College of Engineering Thursday, February 24 from 3:30
until about 5. The event is also open to Junior Girl Scouts.

The event is limited to the first 50 Scouts that sign up. If your Den
is interested please email me your name, phone number and a headcount of
boys attending.

This event is held in conjunction with USA Engineerings open house
during Engineering week. Last years program was focused on the
Engineering Activity Badge and was top notch. One of the Webelos
favorites was being able to build a virtual bridge on a computer lab PC.
They were able to see how strong it was and if it would collapse when
their "truck" drove across it. They also got to see the departments
solar powered vehicle and concrete canoe entries in nationwide competitions.
