Who is the most neglected boy in your unit? Leaders,
could it be your own son? Here is an opportunity for
you to spend some one-on-one time with your son or
sons, and not worrying about someone else’s son.
Bring your own, watch your own. This invitation is
open to anyone who was a leader or is a leader now,
come spend time with your son and families are
welcome.
This is a fun weekend with no scheduled, organized
activities. Yes, there will be things for you to do,
but at your own leisure. Some of the fun things will
be fishing, volleyball, lawn bowling, box hockey,
hiking, horseshoes, stilts, lawn skiing, and more.
All leaders and lads will take care of their own
camping, cooking, and clean up. There will be lots of
fun and fellowship. A campfire is planned for
Saturday night, and a Scout service on Sunday morning.
This is a great opportunity to spend a fun weekend
with your son(s). For those interested, the camp area
has one port-a-potty. Space is limited to a total of
300, first come, first served. Please RSVP by May 1,
2005 to deecubmom@yahoo.com
We have had a good response for this camp-out, but we
feel there are still more that would like to camp with
us. If you have not responded please help us get a
good count. The only concern we have for this weekend
is if we need to have more than one port-a-potty.
Please remember and I know this is a shock we are not
asking for any money or help, just a count so we can
help make this a pleasant week-end for us and our
family members.
