From Pappaweed5@aol.com Sun May 1 20:17:59 2005 From: Pappaweed5@aol.com (Pappaweed5@aol.com) Date: Sun, 1 May 2005 15:17:59 EDT Subject: [Roundtable] Special Invitation Message-ID: --part1_dd.259d2bf5.2fa68567_boundary Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit This is an invitation for you and your son (and/or) family to join us weekend after next for the Leader/Lad campout at Blakley Park off Hyway 225 in Baldwin County. This is not a Boy Scout sponsered event. It is not endorsed by the Mobile Area Council or the Spanish Trail District. Each Family is coming on their own, therefore no Tour Permits need be filed. It is simply a group of Cub Scout and Boy Scout leaders spending quality time with their own child or children and having the opportunity to get to know other Scouters. Please join us if you can. You may spend one or two nights with us or come and go when you please. The cost is $2.00 per person per night payable at the gate. If you can't spend the night, come Saturday. There will be plenty of activites for the kids. If some of you Cub Scout leaders have never been camping before, don't worry about it. Come anyway. If you don't know how to set up that new tent, we will help you. If you have never prepared a meal in the outdoors, call Dee, Geoff or me for some simple ideas. If need be, we will help you cook. Don't know what to bring? Just give us a call and we can give you some advice. We have all been in that boat before. Dee tells me over 40 have signed up so far. If you want to come and bring your lad or family, please give her a call. It will help in the planning. There will be no water or electricity on site. The rangers have asked that we bring our own water. If we need more, we can fill our containers at the rangers station. When checking in, tell the rangers you are with the Spanish Trail District. Arrangements are in Dee Beagle's name. Hope to see you this weekend.
