	Hi Peter,

	Here is an update on Webelos Woods. The date is unchanged, Oct
15. The location will be Blakeley State Park.=20

	=20

	All Troops should plan to arrive at Blakeley by 6:00PM Friday
evening. We have reserved campsites in the main camp. Each camp site has
its own fire ring and fires are only allowed in the ring. Water and
port-o-lets are located in the main camp area.

	=20

	The theme is Readyman/First-aid and Outdoorsman/Pioneering.=20

	=20

	The Boy Scouts will run the program around these themes. Several
sign-off requirements will be completed for both Boy Scout and Webelos
advancements. In the morning the Boy Scouts will have instruction time
to help the Webelos with the skills required for the group activities.
In the afternoon we will have some relay events where the Boy Scouts and
the Webelos will have an opportunity to compete.=20

	=20

	The events will be held at the "Old House Site" very close to
the camp area. The "Old House Site" is a large field with a pavilion.
The pavilion will be used as a staff meeting area and possible
instruction area during the Saturday events. There will also be a
port-o-let at this site.

	=20

	Webelos that are not Camping with a Troop should arrive Saturday
Morning and stay for all of the events.

	=20

	Webelos that are camping with a Troop will have to plan their
visit along with the Troop.

	=20

	The camping fee is $2 per person per night. Right now they are
telling me that anyone that comes out just for the Saturday will have to
pay the $2.00 admission fee.

	=20

	We will have a planning meeting next Thursday evening (9/29 @
6:30) at Providence Presbyterian Church on Schillinger Rd at Cottage
Hill (Under the big water tower). At this meeting the Troop leaders will
finalize the program events and budget. Once we have the budget we can
figure out the registration cost for the Webelos.
