Troop and Webelos Leaders
The early bird deadline for signing up for OLS is Sep. 8th. This has always
been a fun and very informative seminar. Many of us in the District need to
take this for the first time or to retone our skills. Our instructior is Buddy
Weaver of Troop 121, and I know he will put on a good program. Let me
encourage you to join me and other leaders in our District to take this training.
On January 1st, you must have OLS training and sign a statement you have a
current copy of the Quide to Safe Scouting in order to get a tour permit. The
bottom line is: Training not only helps us put on a better program, but it
also helps us keep our youth safe.
Hope to see you at OLS.
Jack
