This is the 4th annual cook-off and has always been a great event with a lot of good food. =20 The rules are simple. The competition is open to any youth Boy Scout group or Patrol. The dish must be prepared and cooked by the boys. They should be able to tell the name of the dish as well as what ingrediance were used. =20 Adults are welcome to participate and show off their best dish, but will not be judged with the boys. Cub Scouts and Cub leaders are also welcome in this category. =20 The award for the winning patrol is a gold cast-iron skillet with an engraved plaque showing the troop, patrol name and name of the dish. =20 We will meet upstairs in the rooms on the East side (We will have a short opening - flag ceremony). The cook-off will be in the parking lot on that side as near the corner as we can get. Charcoal will be provided, but you need to bring your own Dutch oven. =20 The judging will start at 7:45 (by out-side judges) so if your dish requires more then 30 minutes to cook, you will need to get there early.
