The University of South Alabama Engineering Department presents its 
third annual "Webelos On Wheels" (WOW) for the Mobile Area Council 
Webelos Scouts.  This years presentation will focus on the Engineering 
Activity Badge.  The event is scheduled at the College of Engineering 
Thursday, March 1st from 3:30 until about 5. The event is also open to 
Junior Girl Scouts who will be working on their "Science Sleuth" badge.

The event is limited to the first 60 Scouts that sign up.   If your Den
is interested please email me your name, phone number and a headcount of
boys attending.

This event is held in conjunction with USA Engineerings open house
during Engineering week.  The program alternates between the Engineering 
and Scientist Activity Pins.  In the past one of the favorite activities 
was being able to build a virtual bridge on a computer lab PC. They were 
able to see how strong it was and if it would collapse when their 
"truck" drove across it.  They also got to see the departments solar 
powered vehicle and concrete canoe entries in nationwide competitions.
